Your DAW can control complex Eurorack and CV-compatible synth systems. With Ableton Push 3 and the right breakout cable, the connection can be surprisingly simple.
This professional TRS-to-dual-TS breakout cable is designed for routing two separate CV signals from one 1/4” TRS pedal/CV port on Ableton Push 3 to two independent 3.5 mm TS plugs.
The Tip and Ring of the 1/4” TRS plug are separated into two individual 3.5 mm TS outputs, allowing two independent signals to be sent directly to modular, semi-modular, and other CV-compatible synthesizer gear.
This cable may also be used as a stereo breakout, dual-mono breakout, or insert-style breakout cable when your equipment is specifically designed to carry two separate unbalanced signals on a TRS jack.
Please note: this is a breakout cable, not a mono splitter cable, not a passive summing cable, not a headphone splitter, and not a balanced TRS audio cable.
No signal conversion, voltage scaling, buffering, or protection circuitry is included. Please confirm that your equipment supports TRS-to-dual-TS breakout wiring before use.

– Mogami 2893
Miniature quad cable, approx. Ø4.8 mm per cable leg.
Recommended when you prefer a sturdier, more substantial cable.
– Mogami 2944
Miniature two-conductor shielded cable, approx. Ø2.5 mm per cable leg.
Recommended when you prefer a slimmer, lighter, more flexible cable.
• Connector Combination:
– NEUTRIK NP3X-B 1/4″ TRS → dual CANARE F11 3.5 mm TS male plugs
• Length:

– 6 ft
– 10 ft (3 m)
– 15 ft
– 16.5 ft (5 m)
– 23 ft (7 m)
– 30 ft
• Quantity:
– 1 breakout cable per order unit
Length Note:
Length is measured from the 1/4″ TRS plug to each 3.5 mm TS plug.
This cable has two separate cable legs from the TRS side to the two 3.5 mm TS plugs.
The split section is managed with a simple hook-and-loop cable tie, so the two cable legs can be adjusted or arranged according to your setup.

Compatibility / Important Notes
This cable is a passive breakout cable. It separates the Tip and Ring of a 1/4″ TRS plug into two separate 3.5 mm TS male plugs.
Wiring:
Tip → 3.5 mm TS plug 1 tip
Ring → 3.5 mm TS plug 2 tip
Sleeve → common ground
According to publicly available Ableton documentation, Push 3 CV output from the pedal jacks operates in the 0–10V range and supports positive voltage values. This means that Push 3 may not directly cover bipolar voltage ranges such as -5V to +5V without additional processing, offset, attenuation, or appropriate configuration.
To use Push 3 for CV output, your Push / Ableton Live / DAW setup must be configured correctly. This may include enabling the pedal ports as CV outputs, using compatible CV Tools devices, selecting the correct routing, and setting the receiving CV instrument appropriately, such as unipolar mode when required.
Please make sure that your Ableton Live version, Live edition, Push 3 firmware, and Push operating mode support the CV output function you intend to use.
The receiving modular, semi-modular, or CV-capable device must also be configured correctly. Depending on the connected equipment, voltage range, input type, calibration, routing, grounding, and user settings, proper operation cannot be guaranteed in every individual setup.
This cable guarantees only the physical wiring / pin assignment described above. It does not guarantee that every Push 3, DAW, CV Tools, Eurorack, semi-modular, or external hardware setup will function as expected.
This cable may also be used as a TRS-to-dual-TS breakout cable for compatible audio, insert-style, stereo breakout, or dual-mono applications where the pin assignment is appropriate.
However, this is not a mono splitter cable. It does not duplicate one mono signal into two identical outputs.
This cable is not a headphone splitter, not a balanced TRS audio cable, and not a stereo-to-mono summing cable.
Do not use this cable to combine two outputs into one mono input. Combining outputs without a proper summing circuit may damage equipment or cause improper operation.
Please check the manuals of your devices before connecting. If you are unsure whether this cable is suitable for your setup, please contact me before purchasing.
