CLEAR CHANNEL IDENTIFICATION

Both ends are fitted with genuine Neutrik XXR color-coding rings:

 

• Channel 1: Brown (XXR1)

• Channel 2: Red (XXR2)

• Channel 3: Orange (XXR3)

• Channel 4: Yellow (XXR4)

• Channel 5: Green (XXR5)

• Channel 6: Blue (XXR6)

• Channel 7: Purple (XXR7)

• Channel 8: Gray (XXR8)

 

This sequence follows the resistor-color-code channel order used by MOGAMI for channels 1–8.

Each individual fanout leg is also clearly marked with its channel number near the connector at both ends.

The combination of color and printed channel number makes patching faster and helps prevent channel mix-ups, especially in densely wired racks and live sound systems.

 

REINFORCED FAN-OUT CONSTRUCTION

 

Each individual fan-out lead is covered along its entire length with clear 3:1 adhesive-lined dual-wall heat-shrink tubing. This provides additional mechanical protection while keeping the original MOGAMI channel-number markings clearly visible.

Both main breakout points are reinforced with two nested layers of the same 3:1 adhesive-lined dual-wall heat-shrink tubing.

A reusable hook-and-loop cable tie is fitted near each breakout. It can be repositioned to control where the eight leads separate and helps distribute pulling forces across the bundle rather than concentrating them at the reinforced breakout.
