This cable is built with Mogami 2549 balanced studio microphone cable and old-stock ITT Cannon XLR connectors.

It uses ITT Cannon XLR3-11 female and XLR3-12 male connectors, hand-assembled in Tokyo.

Mogami 2549 is a professional two-conductor balanced cable widely used for microphone, line-level, studio, recording, broadcast, and live sound applications.

This version is offered as a special connector variation for users who appreciate the feel, look, and history of Cannon-style professional XLR connectors.

Please note: this is not claimed to be “better” than our standard Neutrik version. It is a different connector option, made for those who specifically prefer or appreciate ITT Cannon / Cannon-style XLR connectors.

Depending on the available old-stock lot, connector markings may vary slightly. Some units may show ITT Cannon markings, while some may show JAE / ITT Cannon markings.

Because these are old-stock connectors, minor cosmetic signs from long-term storage may be present. These do not affect performance.
